The Telugu film is listed for Australian release on September 11, with its overseas rollout still only partly mapped.

Telugu film EPIC – First Semester, starring Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, is scheduled for theatrical release on September 11, 2026. Aditya Haasan has written and directed the film, produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. (Cinema Express; Thisata)

The diaspora hook is built into the story: Cineworld describes Rohan as a middle-class student studying abroad under family pressure, navigating romance, identity and growing up away from home. (Cineworld)

An Australian Indian-cinema listing includes the film for September 11 and references HOYTS. The same listing notes that HOYTS has tagged it as Hindi, while identifying it as Telugu — an administrative plot twist before the actual plot begins. (Salt and Snow)

The complete Australian cinema roster, session times and overseas distributor have not been established. Reports describe the release as worldwide, but no country-by-country exhibitor list was found. The film, at least, appears to know what language it is in.
