The Paradise crosses $200K before release
Nani’s film has a distributor-reported North American pre-sales figure. The audit, like the trailer, is still missing.
The Paradise is scheduled for North American premieres on September 23.
Nani’s The Paradise has crossed $200,000 in North American premiere pre-sales, according to a September 12 report citing an update from overseas distributor Prathyangira Cinemas. The distributor’s post said: “North America PREMIERES PRE-SALES $200K and Counting.” The underlying post could not be independently accessed, and no ticketing dashboard or audited statement was available in the material reviewed.
The film, directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri’s SLV Cinemas, is scheduled for worldwide release on September 24, with North American premieres on September 23. A September 10 report had put pre-sales above $140,000 and tickets sold above 5,000; that ticket count remains unverified. An earlier Filmfare report said Cinemark bookings alone had crossed $100,000 in four hours.
The film has a release date, a reported pre-sales figure and no trailer. The numbers, at least, are getting a marketing campaign.
