The overseas release of Nani-starrer The Paradise has cleared one small but important hurdle: Prathyangira Cinemas said it received the Telugu second-half content on September 22 and sent it to confirmed locations.
The distributor said electronic-delivery venues would receive the material “in the next few hours”, while hard-drive locations were being shipped on a priority basis. That is a dispatch update, not proof that every venue had completed ingest or tested playback. Cinema logistics, like film-industry certainty, remains a work in progress.
The film is scheduled for premieres on September 23 and a theatrical release on September 24, according to reports citing the makers’ reaffirmed release date. A North America figure of about $1.5 million is being discussed as a trade expectation, not a reported collection. The actual overseas venue count, playback status and premiere gross have not been published.
