Two 17-year-olds, Mahesh and Lakshmi Teja, were reported dead and a third teenager was injured after a scooter and a tipper lorry collided in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, early on Sunday, 26 July 2026.
According to a report citing police, the three were travelling on a scooter when the lorry allegedly hit them. The injured teenager was taken to a nearby hospital. The bodies were sent to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem examination. The same report says police registered a case, seized the tipper and began an investigation into the exact cause of the crash.
