Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri’s Vishwanath & Sons, starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, began streaming on Netflix on September 11 — in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The platform lists Telugu as the original language, so the language menu has done more work than most political manifestos.

Netflix describes the film as the story of a celebrated Olympic shooter travelling to the United States to find a donor for his sick child, with romance complicating the search. The film had its theatrical release on August 14.

Sithara Entertainments said the film crossed ₹260 crore worldwide in 25 days. That is the producers’ promotional claim, reproduced by Daily Thanthi and reported by India Today; no audited collection statement or independently verified final gross was found. The exact Netflix release time and viewership figures are also not public in the material reviewed.

For now, the confirmed number is five languages. The ₹260 crore number still belongs to the makers’ poster.
