BRS challenges Revanth’s Assembly screenshot
The party says it will seek a privilege motion and file a police complaint over the Chief Minister’s reported use of an unauthenticated X account. The motion and complaint are not yet publicly confirmed.

The BRS says it will seek a breach-of-privilege motion against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy after he reportedly cited an X account named “Sandhya Rao” in the Telangana Assembly. The party also says it will file a police complaint seeking an inquiry. Telangana politics has once again arrived at the screenshot stage.
According to Telangana Today, BRS legislator T. Harish Rao said the account, @SandhyaRaoBRS, was being run by the Congress social-media team and that Revanth Reddy had presented its posts as facts. The account reportedly claimed that a “purification” ritual was conducted after Dalit protesters visited the area near K. Chandrashekar Rao’s Erravelli residence. A separate report reproduced the Chief Minister as attributing the claim to “Sandhya Rao, BRS”.
Those claims remain allegations. The available material does not establish who operated the account, whether the reported ritual occurred, or what Revanth Reddy knew about the account when he referred to it. The BRS says it wants an investigation, an apology and arrests. It has not publicly confirmed a motion number, Assembly admission or police acknowledgement. The Congress government has not bothered to answer the central question on the record: who checked the account before it was carried into the House?
