Congress’s BC CM is always ‘future’
Mahesh Kumar Goud promises a BC chief minister someday, keeps Revanth Reddy in place today and announces his own Nizamabad plan under a process he once said nobody could bypass.
The timetable for a BC chief minister remains undefined, while a Nizamabad candidature is announced ahead of the formal process.
The Congress has found a useful timetable for a BC chief minister in Telangana: the future. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud has repeatedly said a BC leader will eventually become chief minister through Congress, while also saying Revanth Reddy will continue for the current five-year term. Goud has also said he will contest the Assembly election from Nizamabad district, though no constituency or formal party approval has been identified.
