Gachibowli flyovers hit 40%; paperwork still underground

H-CITI flyover and underpass works at Hyderabad’s IIIT and Khajaguda junctions have reached 40% of civil works, according to Cyberabad Municipal Corporation officials. The latest account says earth excavation is nearly complete, pillars are rising along the medians and concrete beams near Gachibowli Stadium are being lifted at night. Earlier reporting had put civil progress at “over 30 per cent” in August. That is movement, though both figures are official claims reported by the media, not certified progress measurements. What remains unpublished is the useful bit: the contractor, current contract value, expenditure, certified progress and a component-wise schedule. The pillars are visible. The paperwork is still taking the underpass.
