A locked filing cabinet labelled Plan stands on a Hyderabad street beneath a fraying announcement ribbon, while papers marked officer list, traffic plan, control room order and immersion points blow away toward a distant festival pandal and crane.

Festival arrangements were announced on September 12; several supporting documents remained unpublished in the material reviewed.

The Telangana government announced a set of Ganesh festival measures on September 12, but did not immediately publish the documents needed to inspect how the plan would work. The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, reportedly covered a Command Control Centre control room, special officers, monitoring by police and municipal officials, advance pandal details, free electricity and crane arrangements at immersion lakes. The directions remain reported directions, not independently verified implementation. (Times of India; The Hans India)

By September 13, TGSPDCL arrangements had surfaced separately: free power connections, emergency teams, round-the-clock monitoring and the 1912 electricity complaint line, according to a published report. That is a power-sector number, not a festival-wide emergency helpline. The government has not publicly published the special-officer list, control-room order, 2026 traffic notification, authorised immersion points or staffing plan in the material reviewed. Hyderabad City Police did publish detailed traffic and procession arrangements in 2024, including routes, diversions and parking locations. This year’s paperwork is apparently taking the scenic route. (Telangana Today; Hyderabad City Police, 2024 notification)
