A video reported from outside Hafeezpet Railway Station appears to show a uniformed man striking a woman with a baton and dragging her by her hair. The footage is disturbing; its provenance, completeness and recording time have not been independently established.
According to the Railway Protection Force, as quoted by Telangana Today, the man was a Telangana State Police Home Guard deputed at the station. The RPF said he had been “repatriated to the Telangana Police department for necessary disciplinary action”. That is an administrative handoff, not a published finding of guilt. No separate Telangana Police statement or disciplinary order was located.
The report also repeats unnamed locals’ claim that the woman had misbehaved and used abusive language.
