Irumudi reaches Netflix after August 21 release
Ravi Teja’s film begins streaming on September 18 in five languages; its much-repeated box-office totals remain estimates, not audited accounts.
Irumudi begins streaming on Netflix on September 18; reported collections remain estimates.
Ravi Teja’s Irumudi will begin streaming on Netflix from September 18 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Netflix India announced the date, while its catalogue lists the 2026 thriller starring Ravi Teja, Sai Kumar and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
The film opened in theatres on August 21, according to production banner Mythri Movie Makers—not August 11, a date repeated in some coverage. Cinema calendars, like cinema collections, apparently benefit from checking the primary source.
The commercial story needs similar housekeeping. Sacnilk estimated India gross at ₹204.25 crore and worldwide gross at ₹226.60 crore by September 11, while other reports described the film as a ₹200-crore success. Sacnilk says its figures are approximate and makes no claim about their authenticity. No audited collection statement, distributor settlement or producer financial filing was found in the supplied material.
Netflix has confirmed the handover. The ₹230-crore headline has not yet found an audited ledger.
