Moosarambagh gets its bridge, not all the answers

The Moosarambagh bridge was inaugurated on August 31; several project details remain to be documented.
Hyderabad has a new Moosarambagh high-level bridge. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Musi crossing on August 31, 2026, connecting Amberpet and Dilsukhnagar, according to the Telangana government. The official release puts its construction cost at ₹52 crore and its length at 400 metres.
That should settle the ceremony. It does not settle the project record. Earlier GHMC-linked reporting described a 220-metre, 29.5-metre-wide six-lane bridge, with completion originally scheduled for December 2025. A pre-inauguration report also said approaches, lighting, pedestrian facilities and safety works were still being completed. A later report claimed only the left-side portion was opened, but that has not been confirmed by an official traffic order or completion document.
The GHMC board record shows that the alignment affected 109 properties and required road widening. It does not establish whether every property was cleared and compensated, or whether the approaches were complete by inauguration day. The state has announced the bridge; it has not yet published the engineering certificate, traffic-opening order or final amount paid. The ribbon is on record. The rest is still with the paperwork.
