Musi landowners get reported relief; order still missing

The Telangana High Court has reportedly protected four petitioners from being dispossessed for the Musi Riverfront Development Project. The small complication is that the order itself has not been found.
A September 2 report said Justice K. Sarath directed Telangana authorities not to dispossess I. Prabhakar Reddy, Atibhumi Holdings Private Limited, Sahasra Infra Private Limited and S.C. Mohan Reddy until the next hearing. The land covers Ac. 9-08¾ guntas in Survey Nos. 27, 28, 31 and 32 at Dargah Khaleej Khan village in Gandipet mandal, Ranga Reddy district. A second report described the direction as maintaining status quo over possession. Both accounts also said the respondents were given two weeks to file counter-affidavits. The challenge reportedly concerns G.O.Rt. No. 921, dated December 16, 2025, which granted a Section 10A exemption under the 2013 land-acquisition law for the Musi project and related works.
