Mythri names Dhruv Vikram’s film Jackie
The Hyderabad banner has revealed the title and first-look poster, while keeping the release date, plot and full cast safely under wraps.
Mythri Movie Makers has revealed the title and first-look poster for its Dhruv Vikram-led film, but not its release date, plot or full cast.
Hyderabad-based Mythri Movie Makers has titled its Dhruv Vikram-led Tamil film Jackie – No Retakes Allowed and released its first-look poster on September 13. Karan Arvind Kumar directs the film, which was earlier announced under the working title DV4. The poster shows Vikram in a comic-book-style action pose, because apparently even film titles now arrive with safety instructions.
The producers are Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The announced technical team includes composer Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer Viki, editor Jayasuriya S, production designer GM Sekhar and action choreographer Vikram Mor. The makers have described Jackie as an “out and out commercial entertainer”. That is a promise, not yet a review.
The announcement does not include a release date, plot, complete cast, shooting schedule or details on whether the film is Tamil-only, bilingual or multilingual. The earlier DV4 announcement had named Prithvi Pandiarajan and Sai Deena, but the latest title announcement does not confirm them. The poster has a tagline. The film still has homework.
