Nampally voter claim meets a missing official list
A report says 59% of flagged Nampally electors have Muslim names. The official list could not be independently checked, and the published SIR dates do not match.

A name-based analysis says 59 in every 100 Nampally electors flagged during the Special Intensive Revision carry Muslim names. That is a statistical classification, not an official count of Muslim voters: electoral rolls do not record religion.
The report says 137,126 electors were left off Nampally’s draft roll, including people marked shifted, absent, dead or duplicate. But the figure, the category totals and the 59% estimate could not be independently reproduced from the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer’s portal. The CEO website confirms that ASDD lists exist; it does not, in the material reviewed, establish these Nampally figures.
There is another small administrative mystery. The report cites claims until October 7 and final publication on November 9. The Election Commission’s published schedule lists claims until August 30 and the final roll on October 1, 2026. The applicable timetable remains unclear. None of this establishes targeted exclusion, unlawful deletion or political direction. It establishes that an important voter-list claim is still waiting for the official file — and that the calendar needs one government answer, preferably the same one twice.
