Paradise corridor has paperwork, not construction
HMDA’s land-acquisition process is documented. Funding, final alignment and a construction date are not.
The proposed Paradise–Shamirpet corridor has accumulated a paper trail; construction remains undefined.
The proposed elevated corridor from Paradise Junction to the Shamirpet ORR junction has cleared several paperwork milestones, while the project’s construction status remains publicly undefined.
Hyderabad district records show that HMDA submitted the land-acquisition requisition in 2024. Preliminary notifications were published in December that year, rehabilitation and resettlement proceedings were held in April 2025, and the R&R scheme was approved in October 2025. Form VII declarations cover Thokatta, Kakaguda, Tirumalagiri and Machabollaram. The district administration published the latest declaration material on September 1, 2026.
Two reports said Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju inspected the proposed corridor on September 6 and asked officials to expedite land acquisition, utility shifting and clearances. No official release confirming that inspection was located.
The public record reviewed does not show an administrative or financial sanction, a construction tender, a final engineering alignment or a construction timetable. The project has acquired a considerable paper trail. The road itself is still waiting for one.
