Revanth’s asset ‘exposure’ still awaits the paperwork

The Telangana CM has made fresh claims about KTR’s family properties. The records, meanwhile, remain fashionably absent.

The allegations have arrived; the supporting records are still on the way.

The Congress government in Telangana has produced another property exposé involving KTR’s family. The supporting property records have not yet joined the production.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy alleged in the Assembly on September 16 that families linked to KCR, KTR, Harish Rao and others held about 439–440 acres across nine districts. Reports said he ordered an inquiry into alleged irregularities around the Erravelli farmhouse and claimed the wider issue involved about Rs 1 lakh crore. The underlying survey numbers, title records and inquiry order have not been published in the material reviewed.

At a September 30 meeting in Sircilla, Revanth reportedly named Deccan Serai, At Home serviced apartments and hotels around Hitec City, alleging links to KTR’s family and a combined capacity of about 400 rooms. Those ownership links have not been independently verified. KTR has rejected the broader claim, saying Revanth should give the family Rs 1,000 crore and take all its properties. He has not, in the available record, specifically answered each new hotel claim.

For now, the government has supplied allegations. The paperwork is still taking the scenic route.
