India’s Chanambam Rishikanta Singh won silver in the men’s 60kg at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games on July 26, totaling 264kg — 121kg in the snatch and 143kg in the clean and jerk.
Multiple reports described his 121kg snatch as a Commonwealth Games record. He had earlier cleared 116kg and 119kg before making 121kg, then opened clean and jerk at 143kg and missed subsequent attempts at 148kg and 151kg. Malaysia’s Mohamad Aniq Bin Kasdan won gold with a 273kg total, and Kenya’s Joshua Amunga Mboya took bronze with 260kg.
Glasgow 2026 lists men’s 60kg among its medal events and the Games window as July 23–August 2; an official records sheet for the final was not available on the event site at the time of writing.
