Samyuktha joins RAPO23; plot remains under lock and key
The actor has joined Ram Pothineni’s first directorial, but her character and the film’s exact plot are still undisclosed.
RAPO23 is being shot in Hyderabad, while its title, plot and characters remain undisclosed.
Samyuktha has joined RAPO23, the upcoming Telugu film in which Ram Pothineni is acting, directing and writing the story. The announcement was made on September 11, her birthday, by the Rapo Cinematics production banner. Cinema Express reported that she is the female lead, although the makers’ announcement only said she was joining the project.
Produced by Krishna Pothineni under Rapo Cinematics, the film is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Production began on the city’s outskirts in June, moved to Pondicherry in August for action scenes and a song, and returned temporarily after rain disrupted that schedule. The latest report places the unit back in Hyderabad.
The makers have described RAPO23 as a psychological action thriller set in a neo-noir world. A later report mentioned a possible heist backdrop, which is about as confirmed as most film-industry certainty. Samyuktha’s character, the exact plot, release date and final title remain undisclosed.
