Also present were Sports Authority of India and Sports Authority of Telangana officials.
The Games are expected to bring over 8,000 athletes, officials, and support staff to the state. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had earlier confirmed Telangana as the host, making it the second southern state to stage the event in three years.
Despite assurances that all departments would coordinate to "ensure the successful conduct of the Games in Telangana" and that efforts would meet prescribed standards, officials offered no concrete updates about venue readiness, budget, project milestones, or outstanding challenges.
