‘Toxic’ trailer drops. Date, still toxic
Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ rolled out its trailer after a Bengaluru event on August 8. The release date many are quoting — August 26 — still isn’t cleanly confirmed on the makers’ own pages.
The trailer is out; the theatrical date remains unconfirmed.
The ‘Toxic’ trailer is out. KVN Productions’ official channel hosts the film’s teasers in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil, and a Bengaluru launch on August 8 is reflected in same-day public chatter. That moves this from “expected” to happened.
What’s firm: who’s behind it and who’s in it. The KVN channel identifies itself as the official home, credits director Geetu Mohandas, and lists Yash with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in the cast.
What isn’t: the final theatrical date. A July 20 report had industry sources pointing to August 26 after an August 8 trailer launch, while also noting the makers hadn’t announced it then. Today, the studio’s own web and channel text remain inconsistent — including stale copy that still mentions an older 2026 date — and the trailer page carries no clear, current date. Until KVN or Yash publish a fresh, dated line, August 26 stays a widely reported claim, not a record.
For Telugu audiences waiting to plan tickets, that’s the bit that actually matters. The trailer is live; the calendar isn’t signed off by the people who print the posters yet.
