Two films, one 21 August
Trade buzz says Nani’s The Paradise has stepped off 21 August. The makers’ last on-record line says it hasn’t. Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is already standing on the date.

August 21 has two claimants. Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is officially “in cinemas from August 21st,” per the makers’ announcement carried by Telangana Today. Nani’s The Paradise was also locked for the same Friday — first moved there in February from a March slot, and then reaffirmed by the makers on May 13 with “Grand Worldwide release on August 21st, 2026.”
A June 7 trade report says The Paradise has “vacated the date” and is postponed, pointing to production timelines and floating December as “likely.” That piece names no producer or studio document and the film’s side has not since published any change. The last on-record position from the team remains May’s “very much on track,” “no reshoots,” and August 21 worldwide.
So the board reads like this: Irumudi has planted its flag on the date, The Paradise’s makers haven’t publicly moved theirs, and one trade report says they will. Until SLV Cinemas or the film’s official handle blinks, it’s a two-to-a-seat booking — which usually ends with one stepping aside, not with Delhi or Amaravati suddenly discovering how to schedule Telugu cinema.
