Two suspensions, one missing record
The BRS says its MLCs were denied a fair chance to explain themselves. Published reports say the original motion passed by voice vote or unanimously. The Council’s own paperwork remains the missing guest.

The Telangana Legislative Council has suspended BRS MLCs Tata Madhusudhan and N. Naveen Kumar Reddy for the remainder of the monsoon session, following alleged objectionable remarks concerning Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar. The Assembly first referred evidence to the Council; Legislative Affairs Minister D. Sridhar Babu then moved the suspension motion. (Source: published reports.)
The BRS says the members were suspended without being heard and, on September 9, demanded a vote on lifting or reconsidering the action. Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy rejected that demand, after which BRS members protested and walked out, according to a report. The BRS floor leader, Sirikonda Madhusudana Chary, argued that an explanation should precede suspension.
The procedural record is less tidy than the slogans. Other reports say the original suspension motion was adopted by voice vote or unanimously. The Council’s public portal confirms the September session but does not, in the material retrieved, provide the resolution, suspension order, evidence or transcript. The Ethics Committee has reportedly been asked to examine the matter. For now, the government has supplied the action; the Council has not supplied the paperwork that would explain it.
