₹1 crore, ₹1 lakh—or just one missing receipt?
The Paradise got Telangana’s ticket-hike permission. The welfare payment attached to it remains somewhere between two figures and no public record.

Telangana’s permission for a ₹500 special show of The Paradise is supported by multiple reports and by proceedings reported from the Telangana High Court. The special show was permitted for September 23, ahead of the film’s September 24 release, with higher ticket rates allowed through October 3. (Telangana Today)
The welfare condition is where the paperwork develops a plot. Reports say producer Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas LLP was required to contribute to the Telugu Film Industry Employees’ Welfare Committee. But the amount is disputed: one reproduced version says “Rs.1,00,000 (Rupees One Crore)”; another report says ₹1 lakh; others say ₹1 crore. No receipt, bank confirmation, Film Development Corporation ledger entry or welfare-committee acknowledgement has been found. (Telangana Tribune)
The Telangana Home Department memo reportedly allowed additional charges of ₹48 on single-screen tickets and ₹95 in multiplexes from September 24 to 27, followed by ₹23 and ₹45 respectively until October 3. The High Court has questioned the last-minute permission and the reasons recorded for it. The government’s counter-affidavit was reported as due for the October 6 hearing. (Telangana Today)
