12 guns missing. Congress offers the usual silence
The Bollarum weapons theft is documented. KTR’s wider charges remain allegations, but the Congress government still has questions to answer.
The reported theft is documented; the wider political claims remain unsubstantiated.
Twelve firearms, ammunition, magazines and night-vision equipment were reported missing from the Madras Regiment premises in Secunderabad Cantonment. The loss was discovered at about 7:50 a.m. on August 31, after the weapons had last been physically accounted for at 6 p.m. the previous day. Broken locks were found, an FIR was registered, and the Army began checking access records and authorised personnel. The inventory reported from the FIR includes four AK-203 rifles, one INSAS rifle and seven pistols.
That establishes a serious security breach. It does not, by itself, prove K. T. Rama Rao’s larger claim that Telangana’s law and order has collapsed under the Congress government. Nor does it establish who stole the weapons or whether the state government caused the breach. Those facts are still being investigated.
KTR also alleged that Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s son, named in reporting as an accused in a POCSO case, was sheltered for nine days at a hospital linked to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s relatives. The research available here contains no court, police or hospital record confirming that allegation. The Congress government, Revanth Reddy, Telangana Police, Bandi Sanjay and the hospital have not publicly answered it in the material reviewed.
The documented theft deserves answers. The political add-ons deserve evidence. The Congress government has supplied neither in public so far.
