The Congress government’s land claim is still waiting for the land records to arrive.
The government’s reported land tally leaves 106 acres awaiting parcel-wise records.
The Congress government in Telangana says land linked to K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family and associates totals about 440 acres across nine districts, 24 mandals and 31 villages. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy raised the claim in the Assembly on September 16 and ordered an inquiry into land connected to KCR’s Erravalli farmhouse, with officials asked to report within 30 days. He said action would follow if violations were found — which is an inquiry, not a verdict.
The government’s own publicly reported breakdown, however, accounts for roughly 334 acres: 67 acres linked to KCR and his wife, 123 to KTR’s immediate family, 30 to Harish Rao, 35 to Kavitha and 79 to Santosh Rao. The missing 106 acres remains unexplained. The government has not published the full survey-number schedule, certified ownership records or final survey report in the material reviewed.
KTR says the family has farmed since 1954 and bought land legally. He also disputes the inclusion of unrelated people’s properties. Until the government produces the parcel-wise records, 440 acres is a political claim with 106 acres still looking for paperwork.
