5,521 letters promised; possession remains offstage

The Telangana Housing Board says 5,521 applicants selected in the Indiramma Towers lottery have been found eligible, with allocation letters promised during the week beginning September 14, 2026. The letters, at least, have a schedule. Physical possession does not.
According to Housing Board vice-chairman and Housing Commissioner V.P. Gautam, field verification was completed for 6,643 of the 7,340 selected applicants. That leaves 697 cases awaiting verification, based on the reported figures. The reports do not establish whether the other 1,122 among the verified cases were formally rejected or remain under review.
There is also a 17-applicant disagreement in the paperwork-by-reporting: some coverage puts completed verification at 6,660. The Housing Board’s public page provides status and objection facilities, but the research reviewed found no published beneficiary breakdown, reasons for ineligibility, flat-wise allotment details or possession date. Allocation letters are the announced next step. They are not possession, however enthusiastically the timetable may wish otherwise.
