Annapurna Studios has announced four titles and a commission-based distribution model; commercial terms were not disclosed.

Annapurna Studios is expanding its film-distribution slate in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with Dulquer Salmaan’s I’m Game, Karthi’s Sardar 2 and EPIC – First Semester listed among the titles. Ramba Oorvasi Menaka is also described as a film in which Annapurna is involved in both production and distribution. [1]

Executive director Supriya Yarlagadda said the studio wants to build a “transparent and sustainable distribution ecosystem” and revive a commission-based model. Nagarjuna Akkineni said in an August interview that Annapurna had already started in Nizam and was “going successfully”. [2]

That is the public pitch. The public record does not disclose commission rates, rights fees, investments, minimum guarantees, territory arrangements, screen allocations or returns. Annapurna’s website confirms the Hyderabad studio but contains no announcement setting out these deals. [3] The films are on the slate; the economics are still waiting for their release date.
