A hand-drawn courtroom in Hyderabad contains a giant toothbrush-shaped see-saw with two faceless film-industry figures balanced on it, surrounded by files, legal papers and a gavel, while a small calendar marks August 14.

Pallaburusu is scheduled for theatrical release on August 14, 2026.

Annapurna Studios and EPIC Studios have unveiled the first look of Pallaburusu and announced a theatrical release on August 14, 2026. The film is written and directed by Uday Chauhan, with Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud headlining; the press note describes Goud as playing the son of Reddy’s character. According to the announcement carried in trade reports, the poster sets them back-to-back on a toothbrush-shaped see‑saw in a courtroom, amid files, legal papers and a gavel — subtlety is not the brief.

EPIC’s Aditya Pittie and Vivek Krishnani are credited as producers alongside Annapurna, with Vinod K Bangari as cinematographer, Pawan CH on music and Kshitij Jeevan Randhir on production design. The studios’ executives promise something “fiercely original”, “on a grand scale” and “high‑quality, impactful entertainment” — their words, not evidence. The number of screens, languages and distribution plan are not disclosed in the material published so far.

For Hyderabad’s film ecosystem, Annapurna backing another title is the part that reliably exists on the record. Whether it’s a “small” film or a “grand scale” one is marketing until we see the release footprint. August 14 is set; the ticket counters will decide how universal the universality is.
