Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu and Education Minister Nara Lokesh attended the state’s fourth “Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting” at the Government High School–Junior College campus in Rampachodavaram on July 24–25, 2026. Local coverage records Naidu running a digital classroom quiz and both leaders joining the mid-day meal with students. According to Andhra Jyothy, the CM connected his phone to a screen to display answers and rankings.
The visit coincided with the government publicising Talliki Vandanam transfers: around ₹10,120 crore routed to 67 lakh students through 42.7 lakh mothers, as reported by multiple outlets this week. The PTM itself is not new — this was PTM 4.0, after statewide editions in December 2024, July 2025 and December 2025 — but the timing paired hands-on visuals with the scheme’s headline number.
What the record shows: a choreographed statewide PTM drive, a CM-led quiz in one classroom, and a welfare transfer figure the government is keen to foreground. What it does not show, yet, is evidence from this event of improved attendance, learning outcomes or a change that lasts beyond the cameras.
