August 21 belongs to Irumudi now
The Paradise said “no reshoots” and circled August 21. Trade reports now say it’s off that date, with no new one named — while Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has locked it in.
The Paradise has been postponed, while Irumudi has taken the August 21 slot.
The makers of Nani–Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise spent May 12 swatting “baseless rumors” — denying any reshoots, claiming over 100 shoot days were done, and promising a “Grand Worldwide release on August 21, 2026,” per their official X statement as quoted by a national daily.
That August plan has since slipped. A later trade report says The Paradise “will not arrive in theaters in August as previously planned” and stands postponed without a new date. The same outlet separately carried the announcement that Ravi Teja’s Irumudi is officially locked for an August 21, 2026 worldwide release.
The earlier postponement from March 26 to August 21 was framed by Nani and Odela as “we don’t want to rush; we need time to deliver it.” That establishes a schedule change; it doesn’t prove reshoots — which the team denied on the record in May. What the new reporting does establish is simpler: August 21 is taken, and The Paradise isn’t on it. The calendar, unlike party slogans in Delhi, doesn’t bend.
