The session covered irrigation, power, farmers’ concerns, land and revenue, tribal welfare, women’s safety and Congress election promises — all issues the BRS said needed a hearing.
Reports attributed the suspensions to repeated disruptions, slogan-shouting and members moving towards the Speaker’s podium. KTR accused the Congress government of taking a “dictatorial path” and making “a complete mockery” of legislative functioning. The Congress government has not publicly answered the September 12 mock session in the material reviewed. The Opposition was suspended; its replacement House at least had attendance.
