Congress challenges KCR; attendance record says: later

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy appealed to Leader of Opposition K. Chandrashekar Rao to attend the session and offer suggestions on development and welfare, a state government press release said on August 16. A report later predicted that KCR was unlikely to attend and that K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao would lead the BRS in the House. It provided no statement from KCR, BRS, KTR or Harish Rao confirming either claim.
The official Telangana MLA list records KCR as the BRS member for Gajwel, KTR for Sircilla and Harish Rao for Siddipet. The Assembly’s NeVA page still says “House Not In Session”, which is accurate for August 31. The Congress government can issue challenges; it cannot issue KCR’s attendance on his behalf. September 7 will supply the missing fact.
