Congress offers WhatsApp, calls it a report card

The Congress government’s 1,000-day report card currently exists as a ministerial promise and, possibly, a WhatsApp attachment nobody has published.
Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar said the government was sending KTR and Harish Rao a list of its work, and challenged them to debate its record in the Assembly. He also dismissed the BRS charge sheet as containing “only lies”. The report carrying these claims did not publish the list or the charge sheet, so neither can be checked from the available record.
There is documented material to test some of the government’s claims. Official releases say ₹20,617 crore to ₹20,677 crore was used for the farm-loan waiver, covering about 25.35 lakh farmers. The Chief Minister’s Office says 70,000 government jobs were filled in 30 months. Those are government figures, not an independent audit; the underlying appointment, treasury and department-wise data is still needed.
The Congress can keep challenging the BRS to debate. First, it could publish the report card it says it sent. WhatsApp is not a substitute for a document, however enthusiastically ministers forward it.
