The BRS has launched a week-long statewide protest campaign against the Congress government in Telangana, roughly 1,000 days after A Revanth Reddy took oath as chief minister on December 7, 2023. K T Rama Rao and T Harish Rao have released a chargesheet alleging that Congress failed to fulfil its six guarantees, farm-loan waiver, employment and fee-reimbursement commitments. Congress had promised implementation of its guarantees within 100 days, including ₹2,500 monthly assistance for women, ₹500 cooking-gas cylinders, ₹15,000 annual crop support and free electricity up to 200 units.
