Congress schedules KTR’s ‘downfall’ for September 30
A Congress whip has predicted K.T. Rama Rao’s political collapse at a proposed Revanth Reddy meeting in Sircilla. The evidence currently amounts to the prediction.

Congress has apparently put K.T. Rama Rao’s political future on a calendar invite: September 30.
Aadi Srinivas, the Congress MLA from Vemulawada and Telangana government whip, said Revanth Reddy’s proposed meeting in Sircilla would begin KTR’s “downfall” and “countdown”. He urged people to make the meeting a one-lakh gathering and asked KTR and K. Chandrashekar Rao to answer over earlier promises concerning the Rajanna temple. A separate report carried substantially similar remarks.
The meeting is scheduled to be addressed by Revanth Reddy, according to the reports. KTR represents Sircilla; Srinivas represents Vemulawada. Both constituencies are in Rajanna Sircilla district.
What the record does not show is any polling, attendance assessment or independent evidence that KTR is afraid, losing support or about to be politically defeated. The oft-repeated ₹1,000-crore development figure is also not established: the material examined mixes planned Vemulawada temple-town spending, a Malkapeta reservoir estimate and a private investment proposal. The Congress government’s countdown has a date. The evidence has not been invited.
