Congress solved dissent: remove the minister

Konda Surekha refused to resign on September 3 and challenged the party high command to sack her. On September 4, Chief Minister A. The dispute began after remarks by Surekha’s daughter, Konda Sushmitha Patel, about the Congress and Revanth Reddy. The TPCC issued Surekha a show-cause notice on August 20, examined her reply and forwarded its report to the AICC, according to TPCC president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud. Surekha remains a Congress MLA and has said she will attend Assembly sessions. The Congress government has offered a dismissal, but not yet the paperwork explaining it. A familiar substitute for transparency, apparently.
