Congress yells ‘fake’, brings no file
TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud accused the BRS and the BJP of “deliberate misinformation” at a party meet in Hyderabad. He named no claim, showed no document, and offered to fight lies “with facts” — later, presumably.
The accusation was made; the supporting document was not.
At Gandhi Bhavan, the Congress’s Telangana unit found the villain: everyone else. TPCC president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud told a Vichar Vibhag meeting that the BRS and the BJP are running a “deliberate misinformation campaign” and making “false allegations” against Congress leadership for mileage — his words, reported from the hall.
What were those false claims? The reports don’t say. Which BRS or BJP leader said them, when, and where? Also missing. What record — a budget line, a GO, a court order — proves they’re false? Absent. The Hyderabad summary repeats the charge and adds that Congress will counter “with facts and ideology,” which is a fine plan once the facts show up.
Here’s what is on paper: two similar reports list the venue (Gandhi Bhavan), the party cell (TPCC Vichar Vibhag) and the guests (AICC Vichar Vibhag officials). They do not list a single example to test. Until the TPCC publishes the receipts, calling Telangana’s parties “false propagandists” is just Congress saying so into a microphone. If the BJP wants to join that chorus, Delhi has enough echo chambers already.
