IFFI extends entries to Aug 24
Indian Panorama and Best Web Series deadlines move; Telugu filmmakers get two extra weeks to file, zero excuse to miss.
IFFI has extended online submissions for Indian Panorama and Best Web Series to August 24.
IFFI 2026 has pushed its online submission window to 24 August, 6 pm — for Indian Panorama and for the Best Web Series category, per the festival’s own updates page. The stamped-and-signed hard copy for web series runs to 31 August, 6 pm. According to IFFI’s festival regulations, the 57th edition runs in Goa from 20–28 November.
The Indian Panorama regulations still show an earlier 10 August online cutoff in one section, but the news-and-updates page is explicit about the extension to 24 August. Indian Panorama remains under the NFDC and the Union Information & Broadcasting Ministry, and covers feature films, non-feature films and the Best Debut Director slot.
For filmmakers in Telangana, this is breathing room — and a national screen if you use it. The BJP-led Centre runs the show here through NFDC; they’ve moved the date, they can hardly blame Hyderabad if strong Telugu entries turn up on time. The festival hasn’t published who has applied; it also hasn’t said it won’t take yours.
