KCR attendance unclear; BRS floor plan still works

The Telangana Assembly is scheduled to meet from 10am on September 7, with the session’s number of sitting days to be decided by the Business Advisory Committee on the opening day, according to reports. The official MLA directory lists K. Chandrashekar Rao as the BRS MLA from Gajwel, K. T. Rama Rao from Sircilla and T. Harish Rao from Siddipet.
A Telugu360 report says KCR is unlikely to attend and that KTR and Harish Rao are preparing to lead the BRS response on issues including pensions, job recruitment, Rythu Bharosa funds, power supply, land cases and acquisition. That arrangement has not been confirmed by an official BRS statement or an Assembly bulletin. KCR’s attendance is also unsettled.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has publicly challenged KCR to attend, saying a leader with “40 years of experience” should be present. The challenge is on record. So are KTR and Harish Rao’s legislative roles and recent political activity. The Congress government has issued the dare; the Assembly record still has not issued the answer.
