A Malayalam football film has acquired a Telugu title, a schoolchildren-led launch and a release date. ‘Messi – Love From India’ was presented under the Dhama Tales banner on Vinayaka Chavithi, with the makers announcing November 14, 2026, for its release on Children’s Day, according to the Telugu Film Producers Council.
Akarsha Alapati is listed as presenter and producer, with Nikhil Prem Raj directing and Antony Varghese in the lead. The cast includes Jamuna Abdu Rehman, Vijayan, Saiju Kurup, Lukman Avaran and Archana Vasudev. Faiz Siddik, Jakes Bejoy and Noufal Abdullah are credited with cinematography, music and editing.
The project appears linked to the earlier Malayalam film ‘Aanaparambile World Cup’, reported in 2019 with the same director, lead actor and several technical credits.
