Nagarjuna drops Naresh’s ‘Ramba Oorvasi Menaka’

Allari Naresh is back in a fantasy-comedy lane that is actually his, with Ramba Oorvasi Menaka dropping its trailer — unveiled by Nagarjuna — and locking September 4 for theatres, according to multiple trade reports. Annapurna Studios and Hasya Movies back the film, directed by Chandra Mohan Chintada and produced by Razesh Danda and Nimmakayala Prasad. Telangana’s own industry doing what it does best: make the film first, brag later.

Per the trailer write-ups, Naresh plays Suri, whose prayers land the apsaras Ramba, Oorvasi and Menaka on Earth minus their powers, which spirals into cops at the door, a girlfriend not thrilled about three celestial housemates, and a mother in hospital. Surabhi co-stars, with Rashi Singh, Vishnupriya and Prisha Singh as the trio; Vennela Kishore is Indra, and Naresh VK, Srinivas Reddy, Racha Ravi and Muralidhar Goud round out the comic bench.
