Annapurna Studios released the first glimpse of Nagarjuna Akkineni’s 100th film on August 29 and announced its title as King100. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026, according to the production house’s official social posts and multiple published reports.

The glimpse’s voiceover presents money, status and identity as the film’s central concerns: “When I had no money, they called me a loser. When I had money, they called me a King.” The exact plot remains undisclosed, although reports describe images involving wealth, unrest, a child and an apparent Rs 50,000-crore scam. Those are promotional-video interpretations, not confirmed details of the finished story.

R.A. Karthik has written and directed the film, with Devi Sri Prasad as music director. Tabu is part of the reported cast. A separate Shah Rukh Khan film titled King is also currently scheduled around the same Christmas window. For now, Nagarjuna’s King100 has a title, a glimpse and a date. The rest is still awaiting delivery.
