Paradise date: announced, argued, unconfirmed
Nani–Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise keeps its August 21 card on the table — because the makers put it there and haven’t taken it back on the record. A lone June whisper says otherwise, without receipts.
The August 21 release date remains the makers’ announced plan, pending a fresh official update.
The Paradise, starring Nani and written–directed by Srikanth Odela, was first set for March 26, 2026 and then publicly moved to August 21, 2026, according to the makers’ statement carried in May. That same note said over 100 shooting days were done, the remaining schedule was “happening as planned – without delays”, and “there has not been a single reshoot till date.” The line it closed on: “Grand Worldwide release on August 21st, 2026.” (Source: makers’ statement as reproduced.)
A June 30 report later claimed distributors were told August 21 was off and a new date was being explored. It did not publish a named distributor, document, official statement or a direct quote from the production house. On the present record, that makes it a claim, not a calendar change.
As of August 17, the August 21 date remains an announced plan, not a confirmed release locked by a fresh official update. Trade listings still carry it; listings are not filings. If there’s a U-turn, the people who announced the date can announce the change. Until then, the film’s schedule is exactly where the makers left it — on the record, and not revised by anonymous shrug.
