Postgraduate students at Kakatiya Medical College alleged that a professor in the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology demanded money for thesis signatures and practical examination marks, according to a report published on September 29, 2026. The complaints were reportedly emailed in the first week of September to KNRUHS, the Director of Medical Education and the college principal.
The figures cited in the report are allegations from the students’ complaint: Rs 30,000 per student for signing thesis records, Rs 20,000 for practical examinations and Rs 2 lakh to pass.
