The Telugu Film Producers Council election has produced a familiar film-industry ending: a long manifesto, a shorter result. The Progressive Panel promised ₹5 lakh cashless medical cover for eligible members, a ₹50 lakh emergency fund, a producer helpline, women’s safety rules and equal treatment for small and large producers. The council’s September 4 report recorded these as proposals, not functioning schemes. (TFPC)
