Rajamouli brings Fahadh’s ghost-kidnapping film to Kochi
Don’t Trouble the Trouble, a Telugu-led multilingual fantasy entertainer presented by SS Rajamouli, is set for October 2 after its September 11 date quietly moved house.
The film’s Kochi pre-release event was held at Lulu Mall on September 28.
SS Rajamouli has presented Fahadh Faasil’s Telugu film Don’t Trouble the Trouble and turned up for its Kochi pre-release event. The film’s campaign now has a simple pitch: a man kidnaps a ghost. Cinema has evidently run out of ordinary problems.
The event was held at Lulu Mall on September 28, according to event coverage. Rajamouli said he had wanted to bring Fahadh into Telugu cinema, while Fahadh described the film as “a kids’ film for grown-ups”. The project is directed by debutant Shashank Yeleti and produced by SS Karthikeya, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Showing Business and Arka Media Works.
Earlier scheduled for September 11, the film is now listed for October 2 in Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil. The research does not establish why the date changed, or what Rajamouli’s presentation credit involves beyond the public-facing association. The film’s official material has not made that explanation any less mysterious.
