Samyuktha Menon has joined RAPO23, the working title for Ram Pothineni’s first announced feature as writer-director. The RAPO Cinematics announcement on September 11 welcomed her as the project’s “newest addition” and “on board”. Reports widely describe her as the female lead, although the makers’ post does not use that phrase. Her character details remain undisclosed.
Ram Pothineni is also acting in the film, which is produced by Krishna Pothineni under the RAPO Cinematics banner. Earlier launch material described it as a psychological action thriller and introduced Ram’s character as “VEERA”, the “Lone Wolf”. Shooting has been reported as under way, but the current location is unclear: reports mention both Hyderabad and Pondicherry. The final title and exact release date are also pending, despite an earlier report pointing to December 2026.
For now, RAPO23 has a cast addition, a genre label and a release window. The rest is still in the announcement department.
