Revanth opened the bridge; KCR got the chants

The Moosarambagh high-level bridge over the Musi was inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on August 31. The 400-metre project is reported to have cost Rs 52 crore and connects Moosarambagh with Amberpet, promising relief on a route that has needed it for years. (Andhra Jyothy; New Indian Express)
The project was launched under the previous BRS government, which laid the foundation stone on September 24, 2023, according to reports. Revanth Reddy, meanwhile, asked why the bridge had not been built during the BRS’s ten-year rule. (ABP Desam; Andhra Jyothy)
One report said people later raised “Jai KCR” and “Jai Telangana” slogans after Revanth Reddy left. That claim has not been independently corroborated by an official statement, event recording or another report. The less glamorous confirmed detail is that only the left-side portion was open; work on the right side was continuing. The Congress government got the inauguration. The BRS government gets the foundation stone. The bridge, for now, gets half a ribbon.
