The monsoon session is scheduled for September 7; attendance remains unconfirmed.
The Telangana Assembly and Legislative Council monsoon sessions are scheduled to begin on September 7 at 10 a.m., according to reports citing the Assembly secretary’s circular. The date was reported independently, including in a report saying the information was circulated to MLAs and MLCs.
What has not been established is the more dramatic part of the story: that BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao will skip the session and that K. T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao will lead the party’s floor battle. That remains a forecast based on an unnamed-source report, not a formal BRS decision, a statement from KCR, or an Assembly attendance record.
Congress chief minister A. Revanth Reddy did publicly challenge KCR on August 31 to attend the House and debate the Congress government’s 1,000-day record against the BRS’s decade in power. The official eVidhan portal currently shows the legislature as not in session and does not provide a visible September attendance register. The calendar is confirmed. The attendance drama is still awaiting its attendance record.
